What is the Photo score

The photo score tells you how good your photos are that you have set up for your property. Photos are a crucial part.

The photo score consists of 3 parts:

• the overall amount of photos, there should be a min of 15 photos
• the rate of how many of the provided photos are reachable, this value should always be at 100%
• the average resolution of your photos, these should be at least 1M to offer a good user experience

Additionally there is an indicator if the content of the photo is a good for the first image. In general, the first image should be as attractive as possible and should not show a toilet or a bathroom. 

Why is the photo score important?

Photos play a crucial role in attracting guests to book a vacation rental property. By providing clear, accurate, and visually appealing photos of your property, you can increase your chances of attracting bookings and building a loyal customer base.

What can I do to improve the photo score?

First of all, make sure all your photos are of a high quality and reachable by Holidu. In case you notice problems, please let your channel manager know, so we can work with them together on finding a solution.

Chose a good first image that shows a highlight of the apartment like e.g. the pool, the view or something similar and not the bathroom or a toilet. The first impression any potential guest has is this photo, so make sure they get the right impression.
